Artist Statement:

My work invites the viewer to explore the paintings and dive deep into the surface in a dance of discovery.

I am inspired by the changing visual fragments of everyday life.  My work captures the fleeting moments of human interactions with one another, as played out in private and public spaces.   These transitory moments are the subjects that fuel my inquiry into the ongoing dialogue pushing my painting process.   I build deep illusions of space by building layers of color, organic and geometric shapes brought to life with carefully orchestrated light.

My colorful oil paintings are representational with  rich content that relates to the world of people, places and things.
